- The Rockets were upset about their lack of calls in Game 1 but the Warriors kept the focus on the court with a 115-109 Game 2 win.
- Houston attempted 25 free throws to the Warriors’ 24 in Game 2 but also had 18 turnovers and suffered a blow when Harden left the game briefly after getting scratched in both eyes, courtesy of a Draymond Green face scrape.
- Harden told reporters he could barely see after Game 2 and was diagnosed with contusions in both eyes and a laceration in his left eyelid but no cornea damage. He is expected to play tonight.
