Im not sure what’s up in Atlanta but John Collins is regressing at a rapid rate on the point scoring front.
Collins might be holding his own on the floor, shooting it at 53%, but he is starved for volume, down 3 shots per game from last year, and most recently – over his past 4 games – taking a season low of 8.75 attempts per game.
Collins has not totaled 19 or more points 4 straight games, and 6 of his past 7.
The lane is filled. Capela is present. The arc is stacked – Young, Hunter, Gallinari & Bogdanovic.
He simply cannot get to his spots and until I see consistency – on the point scoring front, I’ll be happy to lay him in what could be a comfortable Hawks victory.
