DP’S PLAYER PROP

SEASON RECORD: 58-33

LA CLIPPERS VS DALLAS

PG — OR more formerly known as “Playoff P” is coming off another soft Playoff performance.

Foul trouble clearly disrupted his flow in his latest outing against the Mavericks, making it difficult for him to gain any ascendancy in his offensive flow.

Such is the nature of Playoffs basketball, the Clippers get another chance to re-claim the lead after being humbled from the get-go.

Through two Playoff games in the bubble, George has returned below par numbers from beyond 23-feet (note: his regular season Bubble shooting was exceptional).

Not to worry though — because he will firmly adjust to the pace and defensive schemes being applied by the Mavericks back court + he won’t be tagging out of the game so early.

With the series in the balance, George will get his 17/20 shots on the floor, so volume will NOT be an issue.

DP’S PICK –  PAUL GEORGE OVER 24.5 POINTS

The Raptors have jumped out to a 2-0 series after outscored Brooklyn by 11 points during the 4th quarter to rally for a 104-99 win.

Brooklyn out-rebounded Toronto by a 62-56 but committed 17 turnovers. The 7th-seeded Nets assisted on 25 of their 33 made field goals and shot just 39%  from the field.

LeVert has averaged 25.0 points in 6 games since the restart, however the Raptors have figured out ways to lessen his impact. LeVert is averaging 15.5 points and 13.0 assists in the two games and shooting just 27.8% and has yet to hit a 3-pointer on 6 attempts.

Brooklyn have lost some shooting with Joe Harris leaving the bubble for a personal matter, and that will almost seal the deal for a Raptors sweep.

The series is level after Utah’s 124-105 win over the Nuggets on Wednesday in Game 2.

The Jazz jumped out to a 61-48 lead at halftime and never faltered, scoring 43 points in the 3rd quarter. Donovan Mitchell led scoring for Utah in the win with 30 points scoring 21 during the 3rd quarter when Utah pulled away.

Donovan Mitchell is leading Utah in scoring during the playoffs with an average of 43.5 points per game and is the leader in assists with an average of 7.5 per game.

Mike Conley’s (probable) loss may catch up to Utah at some point if he doesn’t suit up, as will having Mitchell and Ingles setting up the majority of the offense.

Boston leads the series 2-0 following a 128-101 Game 2 victory. The Celtics were by  Tatum with 33 points as the Celtics held Philadelphia to just 101 points in each of the first two games.

The Celtics hope to continue their three-ball assault on the 76ers, outscoring the 6th-seeded 76ers 87-42 from beyond the arc.

Boston has made a total of 29 threes in the series, and that’s killing the 76ers, but the bigger worry for Philly is the fact that if the Celtics shots from deep stop dropping, they still have other weapons to use.

Dallas were 0-4 against the Clippers this season before outplaying them in Game 2 on Wednesday, taking an impressive wire-to-wire, 127-114 win.

Dallas took a 61-56 lead into the main break and extended the lead to 13 points after three quarters to pull out the win. Doncic the leading scorer for Dallas with 28 points, while Porzingis chimed in with 23 points.

Los Angeles will be looking to bounce back with a stronger effort in Game 3, their main focus likely to prevent another early first quarter blowout. Paul George suffered through a 4-for-17 shooting night and scored just 14 points, but we can’t see those woes extending into tonight.

Patrick Beverley (calf) is doubtful for the Clips.
