Only three NBA games to have a crack at today, but there’s still a few decent betting opportunities floating around. Cleveland heads to Atlanta looking to keep the wins rolling, Sacramento and New Orleans are both desperate to get off the duck, and the unbeaten Grizzlies and Blazers go head-to-head in a ripper out west.
A couple of juicy lines on offer, so let’s see if we can find ourselves a winner!

Cleveland and Atlanta will both be playing their second game in as many nights when they clash at State Farm Arena on Thursday. The Hawks have actually won four straight home games against the Cavaliers, including two last season when the teams split their four meetings. Donovan Mitchell was a nightmare for Atlanta in that series, averaging 36.7 points across three appearances.
The Hawks are coming off another disappointing loss, going down 129-117 to Miami despite Kingston Flemings putting up an efficient 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Atlanta have now lost four straight at home, which isn’t exactly encouraging.
Cleveland knocked off Washington 121-111 yesterday, with Evan Mobley leading the way with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 threes. The Cavaliers have also won 14 of their last 16 games when Mobley shoots at least 60% from the field. Atlanta have enjoyed this matchup at home, but their recent form makes them pretty tough to trust.
PICK – Cleveland Cavaliers +1.5

Sacramento and New Orleans have both had an absolutely terrible start to the 2026-27 season, with neither team managing a win heading into Thursday night’s clash. The Pelicans won last season’s series 2-1, including a victory at home and another on the road.
New Orleans are coming off another disappointing loss, going down 104-91 to Denver despite Zion Williamson putting up 25 points and 3 steals. The Pelicans have now lost 14 of their last 15 games, which is pretty ugly reading.
Sacramento aren’t doing much better, getting smashed 130-103 by San Antonio on Tuesday. Domantas Sabonis did his best with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists, but the Kings were again missing Keegan Murray. Sacramento have also lost 28 of their last 32 road games against Western Conference opponents. Something has to give here, but trusting either of these teams with your money looks pretty risky.
PICK – New Orleans Pelicans -5.5

Memphis and Portland have both made flying starts to the 2026-27 season, setting up an interesting clash at Moda Center on Thursday night. There’s also a bit of extra spice, with Ja Morant facing his former team for the first time. Portland won three of four meetings last season, including both games at home.
The Trail Blazers are coming off an impressive 136-129 win over the Lakers, with Deni Avdija leading the way with 23 points and 9 assists. Portland are now sitting at a perfect 3-0.
Memphis kept their unbeaten run going with a 110-105 victory over Utah, improving to 4-0. Jerami Grant could also have a big say against his former team after averaging 25.8 points in this matchup last season. With both sides unbeaten and playing some solid basketball, this should be a pretty entertaining contest.
