Don’t let other tipsters convince you otherwise, the Kings are still below average. Despite Boogie playing a stellar season and Rondo doing his thing, they just don’t have the cattle in the shed to get over the .500. With the Kings winning 4 out of the last 15 games and still playing All-Star game defence, there is no reason to think that the Grizzlies will be worried out of this one at home.

The Wizards are still just below the .500 borderline, but are just 2 games out of 8th spot in the East and still a “playoff contender”. Minnesota are without their spiritual leader, Kevin Garnett, and if this was 10 years ago, that might make an actual difference. Washington struggle on the road, with a 14-4 record, but that’s OK, because the T-Wolves stink it up at home with a 10-20 record. John Wall and his crew should have enough to beat a Minnesota side that is young and improving, but not winning this one.
