In Game 2 the Heat face the Celtics at TD Garden on Wednesday night. The Celtics secured a solid 114-94 win in the series opener at home on Sunday, extending their winning streak against the Heat to four games.

A big factor in Boston’s win was their performance from beyond the arc. The Celtics shot an impressive 44.9% from three-point range, making 22 of their 49 attempts, while Miami couldn’t connect, shooting 32.4% from deep on 12-of-37 shooting.

Boston’s dominance on the boards also played a big role, outrebounding Miami 44 to 34, controlling the game’s flow and second-chance opportunities.

Jayson Tatum led the charge for the Celtics with a 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists triple double, equaling his season-high assist total.

With the Game 1 win, the Celtics extended their home winning streak to 16 wins in their last 17 games. Meanwhile, the Heat have struggled on the road recently, losing three of their last four away games.

As the series continues, Miami will need to improve their three-point shooting and find a way to contain Tatum and the Celtics’ high-powered offense to bounce back and even the series.
