Home court advantage hasn’t been broken in this series as yet (8-0 over season 2016/17 + Playoffs), but we love some value here at The Midfield, and it’s not just because we are degenerate NBA bettors (we’ve won a bit over the playoffs, but are loath to boast like other “Guaranteed Winners” sites).
Washington went 19-22 on the road during the regular season and are just 1-4 away from home in the playoffs. Also, does anybody remember Game 1, when the Wizards led 16-0 and managed to crap themselves on the way to a 12 point loss?
Runs have been common in this series from Washington, using 22-0 and 26-0 stretches to win Games 3 and 4 (not forgetting the Game 1, 16-0 then choke effort, as above).
We’ll go with the underdog tonight in Boston at the +4.5 line. God help them if they come face to face with the dirtiest player in the history of NBA Basketball though, “Killer” Kelly Onynyk.
