This post is old, see the latest NBA Best Bets here.
After a day full of thrills and spills yesterday, we’re left with probably one and a half games worth watching. Last night we saw what NBA basketball is all about, as the Raptors brought a smile to our faces with a 21 point lead early on over Indiana away, then proceeded to go on the wrong side of a 39-4 run, to eventually lose 106-90. Seriously, way to ruin the start of a bet Raptors.
And lets not start on the Rockets……
But onto another day, let’s check out a jam packed day of NBA Acti….Oh, nah sorry that was yesterday. Lets just check out these games instead.
Cleveland WIN @1.75
Minnesota WIN @1.44
Milwaukee WIN @1.64
Tonight’s games below…
Cleveland at Boston
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
4 | Cleveland | 102 | 96.7 | +5.3 |
5 | Boston | 103.7 | 98.8 | +4.9 |
The Say
All fans have got some big ups for Boston for now being recognized as the team who wounded the Warriors before the Bucks went for the kill. Not forgetting, an impressive outing against the inform Hornets away. Back at the TD Garden, here is their next test, the Cleveland Cavaliers whom themselves are flying under the radar all so nicely. With the Warriors basically being daily news, the Cavs aren’t getting any press or we all not surprised that they are leading the East with all the injuries concerns? Cause they have LeBron.
Will be a tight game, Celtics make you have to beat them, and it won’t be easy.
Feeling Lucky: Cleveland WIN @1.75
Denver at Minnesota
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
25 | Denver | 97.5 | 102.7 | -5.2 |
19 | Minnesota | 102.3 | 103.5 | -1.2 |
The Say
Denver got us again against Houston last night so we are betting that fatigue will have to set in when they meet the Wolves tonight. Although, the Nuggets pipped the Wolves just a few days ago, will Minnesota bite back?
Feeling Lucky: Minnesota WIN @1.44
Houston at Sacramento
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
21 | Houston | 104.4 | 107.1 | -2.7 |
22 | Sacramento | 104.9 | 108.2 | -3.3 |
Last Time Around
The Say
The only sure bet in the Rockets games this year is that a.) Dwight will continue to disappoint fantasy owners the world over, and b.) James Harden will continue to pad his scoreline like the Kobe of 2006.
Houston are just a betting nightmare this year. If Rondo was playing tonight I would be all in on the Kings but now we are faced with another Rockets tipping dilemma. We say go with the under considering another loss in high altitude.
Feeling Lucky: Under 220.0 @1.91
Milwaukee at LA Lakers
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
26 | Milwaukee | 95.5 | 101.2 | -5.7 |
29 | LA Lakers | 97 | 107.3 | -10.3 |
The Say
The Lakers have pulled out all stops for Operation Tank and its not even Christmas. Lucky Kobe’s farewell
tour is hiding the front office agenda to snare a top 3 pick. The Bucks are on cloud 9 with the biggest victory in recent history. @1.64 against a team that doesn’t want to win, load up.
Is there any point tanking this hard when there isn’t a front office able to make any decent selections on draft night and/or retain said selections into the future.
Lakers are rebuilding a franchise like Homer is building a barbecue, no plans, but full of hope.
Feeling Lucky: Milwaukee WIN @1.64
