In the highly anticipated rematch of the 2023 AFC Championship game, the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs will kick off the 2024 NFL season at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday Night Football.

The Chiefs, fresh off their third Super Bowl title in five years, are led by Patrick Mahomes, who earned his third Super Bowl MVP in that victory. Mahomes will once again go head-to-head with Lamar Jackson, the reigning regular season MVP. While Jackson has thrived in the regular season, playoff success has eluded him.

To support Jackson, Baltimore added star running back Derrick Henry to their offense. However, the loss of key offensive linemen could put their ground game, which has ranked in the top three for rushing yards over the past six seasons, at risk.

For Kansas City, they strengthened their wide receiver corps by signing Marquise Brown and drafting Xavier Worthy in the first round. With eyes on a historic third consecutive Super Bowl, the Chiefs are ready to make another title run
