MATCH PREVIEW

Meeting for the first time since Week 15 of 2020, the Saints and Chiefs will do battle at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football.

The Chiefs firmed their grip on the AFC West with a 17-10 win over the Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Week 4, though they may have lost wide receiver Rashee Rice to a potential ACL injury. Despite the win, Kansas’ offense has been very up and eown, with Patrick Mahomes throwing at least one interception in every game so far this season.

The Saints’ latest outing ended in a 26-24 loss to the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, dropping them to 2-2. Critical mistakes, including a muffed punt and a costly interception, led to two Atlanta touchdowns.

New Orleans will look to their opportunistic defense, which has already recorded six interceptions this season, to capitalize on Mahomes’ turnover struggles, especially with the Chiefs’ top receiver possibly on the sidelines.
