MATCH PREVIEW

AFC East rivals, the Bills and Jets collide at MetLife Stadium.

The Jets return from London after a 23-17 loss to the Vikings in Week 5, leaving them with a disappointing 2-3 record. Despite their star-studded roster, the Jets have underperformed, leading to the firing of head coach Robert Saleh.

With a struggling 5-20 record in division play over their last 25 games, the Jets are desperate for a turnaround. Quarterback Zach Wilson will need to elevate his play, as the pressure mounts to live up to their preseason hype.

The Bills are coming off a brutal 23-20 loss to the Texans. Buffalo erased a 17-point deficit to tie the game late, only to fall victim to Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 59-yard field goal. Quarterback Josh Allen had a night to forget, completing just 9 of 30 passes, the lowest completion rate (minimum 30 attempts) since 1992.

The Bills will be aiming to get back on track, and Allen will be looking for a bounce-back performance to avoid further slipping in the AFC East standings.
