Simmons and Embiid were admirable on opening night but came across a much better unit away from home. The two are still the driving force and will be hard to stop most nights with a handy supporting cast.
The Bulls have a difficult first up contest with their young gun Markkanen out until mid Nov and integrating new signings Carter Jr and Parker into the mix.
76ers at home with some ease.
Best Bet = Philadelphia -11.0

The Heat will be the first team this season to play on a road B2B and will be tested with their depth with some key rotation players in Johnson, Ellington and Winslow missing. Miami had their chances to take the game last night in Orlando but just came up short.
The Wizards have a new look bench with Green and Rivers joining and are the chosen team this year to take on the annual Dwight Howard show. Although Howard is likely to miss with a back injury, the Wizards will look to capitalize on a fatigued Heat.

The Showtime 2.0 era begins on the road in Portland tonight with a little known player named LeBron taking his first step in a West World. LA have made some big moves with their roster for Season 18/19 with the King being the headline act.
Portland on the other hand have basically double downed on almost the same lineup that got them to third in the West last season. Although, they will be haunted by the first round exit (by sweep) against the Pelicans.
Rondo was on that Pelicans team and knew all the Blazers playbook which gives the purple and gold some leverage, oh and of course LeBron James is ready to rock.
