MPJR arrived some time ago but it has been his consistent production over the past two months that has installed him as a genuine bucket-getter.
With monthly splits returning a low 12 points per game, MPJR is now averaging 21.5 points per game on 57% shooting from the floor, making him one of the hottest shooters in the league.
With no Jamaal Murray – the Nuggets are going to be heavily reliant and Porter Jr’s ability to stretch the floor.
In MPJR latest game, he returned 21 points – but this was in 31 minutes upon a blow out win. In the two game prior, Porter Jr returned 24 & 25 with 10 and 11 field goals made respectively.
Tomorrow – he gets Kyle Anderson who can he a decent defender at times, if he is has to stay in front of you – but MPJR is too quick, strong and agile – we’re going to get good looks all game long.
