THE RUB
- The Game 3 spread of -6.0 for the Warriors, the injuries, and home court advantage leads us to the fact that this is a bitch of a game to pick. On the one hand, it’s the Warriors first game at Oracle these NBA Finals, and on the other hand, they have their most lethal weapon out (yes, we mean Durant), their best defender in Klay likely on the sidelines and Looney (collarbone) out possibly for the Series.
- The Raptors came out with purpose in Game but and went into half-time with a a 5-point halftime lead, out-rebounding the Warriors 49-42 before the Warriors pulled out another predicted run, this time doing what they couldn’t do in Game 1, finishing the Raptors off.
- Draymond delivered a well-rounded performance with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Steph Curry pushed through a virus, scoring 23 points with 4 assists and 3 steals. Klay Thompson went for 25 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists before getting injured late (hamstring). Andre Iguodala and DeMarcus Cousins with 11 points , 10 rebounds and 6 assists also showed the value of veterans and basketball I.Q when injuries arise.
- For Toronto, Kawhi again did the majority of the work, finishing with 34 points and 14 boards, with Lowry again disappointing going just 4 of 11 from the field.
- The line of 213.0 is tricky tonight, with the Warriors possibly without an elite scorer and defender in Klay Thompson. We’ll sway towards Overs, but not willing to outlay.
- Like the +6.0 for the Raptors, and we’ve gone all in with a straight up ML wager on the Canadians.
