Philly will be debuting two #1 picks tonight while their 150 Million Dollar man is on a minutes limit at 15-20. Washington at home were 30-11 last season, with 5 of those losses coming in the first month of play.
The better Morris twin remains out which will be the only concern for the Wizards with Philly packing a lot of depth. There were almost two upsets on Day 1 of the 2017/18 season, the home record for Washington might be something to throw away here.
Charlotte @ Detroit
The Trends –
- Over is 20-6-1 in the last 27 meetings in Detroit.

Charlotte was a shoe in for this game if Batum was playing fit, now it looks for like a toss of the coin. Drummond and Howard will cancel each other out in impact while Kemba will be the best player on the court. Worth the risk to take the Hornets although with both teams unsure of lineups, the Under looks attractive.
Brooklyn @ Indiana
The Trends –
- Over is 20-5-1 in the last 26 meetings in Indiana.

Brooklyn will be hoping D’Angelo Russell will be able to fill the void Lopez has left. Along with Crabbe and Lin, the Nets will be hoping to take down the Pacers with the three-ball.
Indiana will be hoping to move on from PG13 very quickly. Turner is now the franchise player with some help from veterans Oladipo and Collison which provides some extra comfort in this selection.
Miami @ Orlando

Remember this same match up at the beginning of the season last year? Ibaka was debuting and the Magic struggled to get a score while the Heat went on a rampage. I don’t see that much difference this time around.
Milwaukee @ Boston
The Trends –

There is no guide as to how the Celtics will be feeling after last night. Seeing their free agent signing Hayward going down for ‘likely’ the season did spur them on to almost steal the game in Cleveland. However, it could be a hard task to back it up again against a team on the rise.

I think we are all undecided on where both these teams are positioned. The Two Tower approach for the Pelicans is yet to pay off and could be a game-style best suited to 10 years ago. Memphis haven’t exactly fared much better with lame free agent signings in Tyreke Evans and Ben McLemore.
Atlanta @ Dallas
The Trends –
- Atlanta are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

Cant see any future where Dallas don’t win this game. Also, not sure who will score for the Hawks. Like the Under.

Along with the Bucks, Denver are the new buzz team of the league and will get to test their new look on the road to Utah. On paper, Jokic and Millsap look like a tough task but since the days of Malone and Stockton, the road trip to Utah is never an easy feat.
Minnesota @ San Antonio

For two years straight, we could be over-rating the Wolves and under-rating the Spurs. Even with Kawhi on the sidelines, you can’t doubt Spurs basketball.

Another game where a missing key player could be the difference. CJ McCollum is serving a suspension from preseason that does cause some concern. Both teams love to score, take the Over here.

The Rockets went toe to toe with the Warriors and came out on top. Would be against God’s good will for the Rockets to not back it up the next night in Sacramento.
