Now that we’re headed back to Quicken Loans Arena, that line has blown out big-time. Sitting at -16.0 now, it is a lot more reflective around the margin for this game, which is a fucking shame.
We are looking at a sweep here, and along with what likely be a sweep in the Spurs and Warriors series, these NBA Playoffs have been disappointing to date (not from a punters point of view of course) for an NBA fan.
The fact that Isaiah Thomas is now done for the series with a right hip contusion spells the end for the Celtics. The Celtics announced Saturday that Thomas, their leading scorer, was out after re-aggravating a “right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear.”
It’s been a shit series so far, and despite the blowouts, we aren’t willing to outlay on the -16.0 line for the Cavs. So the question now is the Overs of 213.5. With the loss of Thomas, the Celtics scoring has basically gone, and the Unders is our best bet for the night here. Expect the Cavs stars to sit early, this could get ugly.
