THE RUB
Detroit along with Charlotte created the first upsets of the season with nice wins against a some firm favorites.
With Blake out for at least the next 2 weeks, Drummond covered the gaps producing a 32pts, 23reb, 4blk, 3stl, line and getting the win on the road.
However so early in the season, we must not forgot the impact of a B2B.
The Hawks will struggle to slow down Drummond and will rely on Trae Young to gain some control but its hard to not stick with the Pistons after an impressive opening night.

THE RUB
The Clippers and Kawhi didn’t miss a beat on opening night and came out like a well drilled veteran team. Their bench outscored the Lakers 60-19 which will put plenty of pressure on any team’s second units.
Golden State will be playing with a handicap all season with their best on-ball defender Klay Thompson out, and leaving most of the offensive load on Curry and new sidekick D’Angelo Russell.
The Warriors get to showcase their new arena but will likely notch their first loss.
