Portland took Phoenix to school in their opening bring in the year’s first whooping in a 124-76 win over the Suns, making 58% from the floor.
The now PG13-less Pacers fell in a high scoring opener to the Nets, 140-131, with all 5 starters tallying double figures in points.
The total line here is a little inflated due to the season openers,with the line for Portland looking very tasty.

Boston enter this one with a prized recruit watching from a hospital bed and an 0-2 start to the year.
The 76ers would be up and about after seeing Ben Simmons tally 18 points, 5 assists and 10 rebounds and more importantly, survive.
The loss of Hayward takes away a consistent performer from the Celtics, which could hurt them further down the track. The 76ers to win and cover tonight.

The Wizards have not won 50 games in a year since the 70’s and having won 49 last year they’d be pretty confident of a solid season ahead with Wall and Beal leading the way.
Not expecting a lot from the Pistons this year, although when playing well they are able to compete with anybody on a given night.
We’ll run with the Wizards at the line, but not willing to outlay on it. Total points over the better bet.

Brooklyn started 2017/18 with a 140-131 loss to Indiana, which could well just be an indicator that neither the Pacers or Nets are defensively capable at this early stage. Losing Jeremy Lin with a ruptured patella is a big blow, placing more on the shoulders of new arrival D’Angelo Russell.

Liking the addition of Jimmy Butler to the Wolves and along with Towns and Wiggins they should be fun to watch, and likely very up and down through the year.
Utah welcome Ricky Rubio in the hope that he can somehow spark the stagnant offense of the Jazz. Starting the season with a 106-96 win over the Nuggets was a good start.

Definitely won’t be going out of our way to watch this one, however liking the line for the young Kings here against a Mavs team that are in rebuild limbo.

The Warriors enter 2017/18 0-1 following a loos to the Celtics in what is now known as #PrayforHay day. A last second shot from Durant to win the game sunk but was waved after a review showed the release was late.
The Davis / Cousins twin-tower experiment is yet to show dividends in New Orleans, and that -8.0 line is looking fantastic with the Pelicans troubled by the offensive range of the Warriors.

The Lakers went down 108-92 to the Clippers last night in what was the season opener for both teams… and also the Big Baller Brand and Lonzo, who tallied 3 points, 4 assists and 9 rebounds.
Phoenix got absolutely thumped 124-76 by Portland in their opener and this game shapes to be one to avoid from a betting point of view.
