The Mets (89-73) and Brewers (93-69) meet in a do-or-die Game 3 of their NL Wild Card series at American Family Field.
The Mets turn to Jose Quintana (10-10, 3.75 ERA), while the Brewers counter with Tobias Myers (9-6, 3.00 ERA).
With the series tied, the winner will advance to the NLDS. Milwaukee holds an edge, having gone 8-2 in their last 10 matchups against New York.
After dropping Game 2, the Mets are hoping to avoid another late-season collapse. They allowed a late comeback on Wednesday, spoiling a strong start by Sean Manaea. New York’s offense, led by Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso, will need to bounce back, while Quintana looks to improve after a shaky last outing.
The Brewers, energized by Jackson Chourio’s two-home-run performance in Game 2, aim to carry some of that swagger forward.
Myers will need to replicate his strong performance from his last start, as Milwaukee eyes its first NLDS berth since 2021.
