Tonight’s 8 NBA Games Picks

Indiana @ Philadelphia

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
Indiana 110.0 113.3 -3.3
Philadelphia 94.7 107.4 -12.7

The Say

Philly are 0-7 but we all know when playing the Pacers away from there home court, there is a chance for a win. Indiana are terrible this season away from home at 0-4 and we aren’t comfortable in going anywhere near them. Especially when the 76ers lost to them in OT last time around.

Best Bet: Under 220.5 @1.46

Feeling Lucky: Indiana 1-10 @2.70

Cleveland @ Washington

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
Cleveland 111.4 104.4 +7.0
Washington 101.4 103.7 -2.3

The Say

Washington are claiming some chemistry issues but had no trouble smashing an undermanned Celtics team. The Cavs are a different story and fresh from leaving the annual White House catch up.

Best Bet: Cleveland WIN @1.33

Feeling Lucky: Over 209.5 @1.91

Toronto @ Charlotte

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
Toronto 102.4 96.4 +6.0
Charlotte 105.1 96.7 +8.4

The Say

DeMar DeRozan is having a career year which is unusual when it’s after you sign a max deal in the offseason. Averaging 34.1 ppg, Batum will be all over him like a rash tonight. Let’s not forget about Kemba Walker’s year also. He is in All-Star form which makes this matchup too close to call.

Best Bet: Too close to call, like the Toronto upset though.

Feeling Lucky: Toronto WIN @2.16

Utah @ Orlando

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
Utah 98.3 95.4 +2.9
Orlando 94.6 104.6 -10.0

The Say

This is less about Utah who regained Haywood in the last week but may be without Hill, and more about how much Orlando isn’t progressing. The offseason moves don’t look to be a good fit and are really struggling for some play makers and scorers. The Jazz can snatch another win on the road here.

Best Bet: Utah WIN @1.59

Feeling Lucky: Utah -3.5 @1.91

New York @ Boston

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
New York 103.3 107.9 -4.6
Boston 107.7 112.7 -5.0

The Say

Boston are missing some stars and its starting to hurt them in the standings. The Knicks haven’t been that impressive this season with the Triangle offense and its usage being questions on a regular basis. All in all however, New York have a good chance to steal one here away from MSG.

Best Bet: New York +9.5 @1.50

Feeling Lucky: Boston+5.5 @1.91 or Best Bet

LA Clippers @ Oklahoma City

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
LA Clippers 105.1 88.3 +16.8
Oklahoma City 102.6 99.6 +3.0

The Say

The Thunder have been a force at home this season, while the Clippers have been a force on the road, this is going to be good.

Chris Paul 19 PPG, 8 APG, 6 RPG, has been the CP3 we know and love, shooting the lights out and pushing his team.  A week ago however this OKC team went to LA and beat the Clippers. Now the underdogs back at home the Thunder are a tempting underdog pick here.

We’ll stick with the Clips though, in a close one. That +/- points difference of the Clips sways us.

Best Bet: Nope.

Feeling Lucky: LA Clippers 1-10 @2.40

Detroit @ San Antonio

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
Detroit 98.1 97.4 +0.7
San Antonio 102.1 97.6 +4.5

The Say

Detroit has lost their last two, and are arriving at the wrong venue if they are looking for a confidence boost. The AT&T Center isn’t the fortress of year’s past this season, but it will cause enough trouble for the Pistons tonight.

Life without Timmy D hasn’t gone smoothly so far, with San Antonio now 1-3 at home, however the Pistons road record gives us no confidence of an upset.

Best Bet: San Antonio WIN @1.23

Feeling Lucky: San Antonio -8.5 @1.91

Sacramento @ Portland

Points +/- Rank

TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
Sacramento 97.8 101.8 -4.0
Portland 106.9 110.8 -3.9

The Say

Sacramento are not the high scoring, leaky defensive team of last season, and we’ll hold off on any total points overs after losing out on that market last night. Darren Collison is back for the Kings and should have his legs under him a little more following his first game back against the Pelicans.

The Blazers are split 2-2 at home this season, but will make it 3-2 following tonight, with the young Blazers legs catching them weary on a back to back.

Best Bet: Portland -6.5 @1.91

Feeling Lucky: Nope.
