TONIGHT’S MLB PICKS & PARLAYS

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES @ MIAMI MARLINS

The Phillies and Miami continue their series in South Beach, with the Phillies looking to extend their momentum after a 5-2 win on Thursday. Philadelphia entered Friday on a five-game win streak, holding an 84-56 record and an eight-game lead in the NL East.

Bryson Stott played a key role in Thursday’s win with a home run, while Ranger Suarez earned his 12th win of the season. Aaron Nola will take the mound for the Phillies on Saturday, boasting a 12-6 record and a 3.29 ERA. In his last three starts, Nola has a 1.96 ERA.

The Marlins, with a 52-88 record, are far from playoff contention. Miami struggled on Thursday, leaving seven runners on base and going 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

Darren McCaughan will start for the Marlins, entering the game with an 8.24 ERA. He allowed four runs in his last start but has improved in recent outings, posting a 4.00 ERA over his last three appearances.

BEST PICK – PHILADELPHIA ML

KANSAS CITY @ MINNESOTA TWINS

The Twins and Royals face off in a AL Central matchup that has some steam on Saturday night.

Minnesota sits 2nd in the division, pushing hard for a playoff spot, while the Royals, in 3rd, hold onto the final Wild Card berth. Bailey Ober (3.95 ERA) will pitch for Minnesota, and Alec Marsh (4.70 ERA) takes the mound for Kansas City.

The Twins, holding a 7-3 edge in the season series, are coming off a split series against Tampa Bay, where Edouard Julien hit a key three-run homer. Ober has a 12-6 record and allowed only one run over six innings in his last start.

The Royals, fighting to maintain playoff positioning, recently snapped a seven-game losing streak with a win over Cleveland, thanks to a three-run shot from Tommy Pham.

Kansas City’s offense is powered by Bobby Witt Jr. (.339 average, 30 HR) and Salvador Perez (25 HR). Marsh, with a 7-8 record, will look to bounce back after a tough loss to Houston.

BEST PICK – KANSAS CITY +1.5
