It’s been a topsy-turvy playoffs campaign on the props front – but the latest Eric Gordon performance (8/24 on the floor) whilst being stuck on 18 points for an extended period of time was another bad beat I’d rather forgot – the bet was spot on (he took just -3 shots on Harden).
My attention turns to Utah/Denver series which is surprisingly spiraling out of control with the Nuggets seemingly not interested in showing any fortitude on defense.
In their past two outings, the Jazz have absolutely obliterated the Nuggets in the PnR and paint with Jokic a complete passenger at both ends.
For that very reason, I’m going to play Jokic on the over 22.5 points tomorrow with this game being a win or the series is iced.
My numbers forecast a 38 minute box score return with 17+ shots as the Nuggets look to roll everything through Nikola.
Denver are completely starved of offense. If Murray can’t get it going from deep, there is very little lane scoring with no Garry Harris or Will Barton.
Jokic has put up numbers before on Gobert – we’ve seen it many times over the years and I’d like to think with little helpside D by the Jazz, they’ll defend as 5 which should give Joker every opportunity.

With Doncic (ankle) sidelined for much of the 4th, the Clippers notched up a 130-122 Game 3 win on Friday to take a 2-1 edge.
Kawhi had 36 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, while Paul George struggled again offensively, managing 11 points on 3-of-16 shooting and 1-of-8 on 3-pointers.
Porzingis tallied 34 points and 13 rebounds, and Seth Curry and Tim Hardaway Jr. had 22 points each .
Doncic sprained his left ankle late in the 3rd and returned briefly before taking himself out early in the 4th. He finished with 13 points on 4-of-10 shooting and added 10 rebounds and 10 assists in 29 minutes.
Whether Doncic’s MRI comes back as negative or not, we can’t see him out there contributing significantly here.

The Raptors showed their dominance over the Nets 117-92 in Game 3, Brooklyn offering little resistance without Joe Harris, who left the bubble for a family emergency, and will again be unavailable.
The Nets were outscored 46-22 in the paint and shot just 33.3% from the field, including 16 of 51 (31.4%) in 3-point attempts.

The Jazz were dominant against the Nuggets on both ends of the floor in Games 2 and 3 and are playing like a team that has seized control of the series.
The Jazz are averaging 18 made 3-pointers per game over Games 2 and 3 and have shot 45+% from behind the arc in both wins. Mike Conley encapsulated that good shooting in his return in a 124-87 Game 3 win.
The Nuggets are a mess defensively and have struggled to find rhythm on offense. Slow starts continuing to be a thorn in their side.
The Nuggets had an awful first quarter in Game 3, shooting 6-of-18 from the floor and just 2-of-9 from 3-point range, outscored 30-12 in the paint before halftime.
The Jazz have too many weapons.
