The 76ers made short work of the Heat in a 4-1 series win, and with a run of 20 wins from their last 21 games (15-4 ATS over their last 19) they deserve their firm favorite status in the East. Simmons averaged 18.2 pts, 10.6 rbs, 9 ast and 2.4 stls over their 1st Round Series.
The Celtics won all 4 games at home against the Bucks, winning the series 4-3. They haven’t got a lot of faith from the bookmakers, with CrownBet giving +330 odds ($4.30) to win this series. Philadelphia firm -455 ($1.22) favorites.
A few days rest would have done a world of good for the 76ers, especially for Embiid recovering from an orbital fracture, who averaged 13 rebounds against the Celtics in the regular season.
The 76ers, with Reddick, Saric, Belinelli, Covington and Iltyasova are elite from beyond the arc, which should stop Boston from clogging the paint as they did against the Bucks.
