This post is a little old, check out the latest NBA betting tips here.
Tonight’s 6 games…
MILWAUKEE @ INDIANA
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
6 | Indiana | 102.4 | 98.3 | +4.1 |
27 | Milwaukee | 97.1 | 103.2 | -6.1 |
The Say
The Pacers just came up short to the Bulls in OT last night with a 2 point defeat. With any loss in the Eastern Conference, you can drop 3-4 spots so that one would of hurt. The Bucks only relevance at the moment was the first team to defeat the Warriors. On paper, their line up isn’t bad and got some huge numbers in the boxscore against Oklahoma last game. Indiana defeated the Bucks by a whopping 37 points earlier this year at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Best Bet: Indiana WIN @1.37.
MINNESOTA @ DETROIT
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
21 | Minnesota | 100.6 | 103.3 | -2.7 |
14 | Detroit | 101 | 100.2 | +0.8 |
The Say
Another example of how tight the East is, the Pistons lost a few games and have dropped to tenth position. On the otherside of the country, the Timberwolves are only 2 games out of eighth in the West with their strong win against the Jazz last night. This is a must win for both teams. Being in Detroit, we are leaning to the Pistons with the home court advantage and extra days rest.
Best Bet: Detroit -4.5 @1.57.
GOLDEN STATE @ HOUSTON
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
1 | Golden State | 114.8 | 101.4 | +13.4 |
18 | Houston | 104.1 | 105.5 | -1.4 |
The Say
Is it safe? Our bogey team in the Rockets can get some sweet sweet revenge against the Warriors at home without a massive Ace up their sleeve……. No Steph Curry!!!
Apart from learning that Ish Smith is the messiah of Philly last night, we also learnt that without Curry on the court, the Warriors are vulnerable. Can Harden get the crowd chanting “MVP”? This is all set up for a Rockets win you would think but we aren’t going anywhere near it, no money here, no cash.
Best Bet: Will depend on Curry’s fitness. Curry YES. No Curry VOID.
LA CLIPPERS @ NEW ORLEANS
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
10 | LA Clippers | 102.5 | 100.4 | +2.1 |
26 | New Orleans | 102.1 | 107 | -4.9 |
The Say
Without Blake you would of thought the Clippers may have struggled, being on the road since Christmas, all they have brought back is Wins! Could this be an early sign that Blake is expendable? Davis and the Pelicans are too inconsistent to be relied upon, although they are slightly making their way back.
Being that the Clippers are on a road trip and played last night, we expect a flatter unit against the Pelicans tonight. Will need a few hand grenades to kick-start the engines
Best Bet: LA Clippers +7.5 @1.51.
PHOENIX @ OKLAHOMA
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
3 | Oklahoma | 108.6 | 100.4 | 8.2 |
20 | Phoenix | 103.5 | 105.2 | -1.7 |
The Say
Not much to add here, Phoenix are dealing with an injured Star and a disgruntled former Starter….and they face the Thunder after a smashing from the Spurs last night. Thunder Win.
Best Bet: Oklahoma -14.5 @ 1.86.
PORTLAND @ UTAH
Points +/- Rank
RK | TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
17 | Portland | 101.1 | 102 | -0.9 |
16 | Utah | 97.2 | 97.4 | -0.2 |
The Say
Even without Lillard, the Blazers are on a mini run with Most Improved candidate CJ McCollum leading the way. The Jazz are still not the same team we saw last season post All-Star break. They are throwing a lot of players into the lineup to minimal success. We fancy Portland’s chances here for an upset.
Best Bet: Portland +7.5 @1.91.
