The Thunder and Timberwolves head to Target Center for Game 3 of the 2024-25 Western Finals on Saturday night, with the Thunder holding a 2-0 series lead.

Oklahoma City took control of the series with a 118-103 win in Game 2 at Paycom Center.

The Thunder dominated the paint, outscoring Minnesota 58-44 inside, and their perimeter defense was sharp—limiting the Timberwolves to just 28.2% from three-point range (11-of-39). Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 38 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals, while Jalen Williams added 26 points and matched his career high with 10 rebounds.

Anthony Edwards paced the Timberwolves with 32 points and 9 rebounds, but Julius Randle struggled, finishing with just 6 points on 2-of-11 shooting. Oklahoma City has now won 24 of its last 26 games when Gilgeous-Alexander scores 35 or more and will look to push Minnesota to the brink in front of a hostile crowd.
