HOUSTON @ TORONTO

I’ve always had a soft spot for Powell, who I think is a legit baller – and finally he’s receiving solid minutes to prove his worth – but I’m more than happy to lay him on the points here if the bookies want to quote a 20 point showing.

Powell appears to be still running with the first unit despite Lowry’s return – which means the Raptors ultimately have to sacrifice playing big because Siakam plays the 5.

Tomorrow’s match up is quite unusual, we’re going to see PJ Tucker & Pascal Siakam be listed as respective 5’s.

However at some point we are going to see Toronto’s bigs check in (which will change the dynamic of the game) and ultimately result in Powell being the first out.

Look what Jarrett Allen did to the Rockets.

All things considered, Powell has returned 20 points or less in 2 of his past 3 – so the trend is with me.

PICK – NORMAN POWELL UNDER 19.5 POINTS
