Brooks and the Grizzlies have the chance to shut the door on the chasing Kings in a game that presents sweetly for Brooks and his high-volume shooting.
In 3 of his past 7 games, Brooks has put it up 20 times, with one game at 19. This is seriously high production to round out the regular season.
In all but 1 game he has connected on 40% and better.
But. The most telling stat is that during the month of May, when Brooks has had 19 or more shots (4 times), he has surpassed 20 points (all 4 times).
I don’t see anything different here against a fairly poor defensive backcourt in the Kings.
