LA CLIPPERS VS DENVER
After a scintillating 7 game series against the Utah Jazz, where Murray accumulated 50 points on the reg, the script was flipped against the resilient back court of the LA Clippers in Game 1 of Round 2.
In what was a blowout loss, Murray was 5-15 on the floor for 12 points – and was more clearly effective as a facilitator with 6 dimes.
I don’t see much changing in Game 2 for Murray with both a defensive edge favoring the Clippers and another heavy loss potentially on the cards (soft minutes percolating).
We’ve seen thus far in the bubble, once a player shows some decline in performance (i.e, Middleton, Fournier and George) it’s hard to re-start and get going, perhaps easiest for George.
More so, it’s just going to be a brutal series for Murray – who played his heart out against the Jazz and will be marked heavily from 23-feet.

0.5 seconds was all that stood between the Raptors and a 3-0 series lead on Thursday before Anunoby beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer for a 104-103 Toronto win.
The loss was Boston’s first of the playoffs after beginning 6-0, with Kemba Walker finding some swagger, leading the way with 29 points in Game 3.
But it was the Raptors’ back-court that led the way, Lowry scored a game-high 31 points, and VanVleet backed him up with 25.

Kawhi scored 19 of his 29 points in the first half as the Clippers thumped the Nuggets 120-97 in Game 1. Leonard, who rested in the 4th quarter, made 12 of 16 shots from the floor.
