In Game 4 of the Eastern Semis, the Celtics will face the Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Monday night. With a 2-1 series lead, the Celtics aim to build on their momentum following a solid 106-93 win in Game 3 at Cleveland.

Boston’s efficiency on both ends of the floor proved pivotal in securing the win, as they shot an impressive 51.3% from the field compared to Cleveland’s 42.9%. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with a dominant 33 points and 13 rebounds. Jaylen Brown provided strong support with 28 points and 9 rebounds.

Despite Donovan Mitchell’s 33 points and 7 triples, the Cavaliers couldn’t match Boston’s efficiency. Mitchell’s outstanding effort was marred by a calf strain, leaving his availability for Game 4 uncertain.

The Celtics’ recent road success in the playoffs adds to their confidence, as they’ve now won five straight playoff games away from home.

Boston looks to maintain their momentum and potentially take a commanding 3-1 series lead, while Cleveland aims to bounce back and even the series on their home court. With Mitchell’s status up in the air, the Cavaliers will need a collective effort to overcome Boston’s challenge.

In Game 4 of the Western Semis, the Mavericks host the Thunder at the American Airlines Center on Monday night. With a 2-1 series lead, the Mavericks aim to maintain their momentum after a hard-fought 105-101 win in Game 3 at home.

Dallas dominated the paint, outscoring Oklahoma City by 14 points in that area and making the most of on offensive rebounds to extend possessions. P.J. Washington continued his nice performance, with 27 points, including 5 three-pointers.

Despite the Thunder’s efforts, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks, Dallas ultimately prevailed. The 5 blocks was a career high for SGA.
