PREVIEW
With everything on the line, the Pacers and OKC battle for the NBA title in Game 7 on Sunday night at Paycom Center.
Indiana forced the decider with a commanding 108-91 win at home, riding elite defense that held the Thunder to 26.7% from deep and forced 21 turnovers. Jalen Williams, who exploded for 40 points in Game 5, struggled mightily in Game 6, posting a Finals-worst -40 plus-minus.
Indiana’s energy and disruption swung the series momentum, but Oklahoma City has been here before. The Thunder dominated their only other Game 7 this postseason, blowing out Denver behind 35 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. That experience – and home-court advantage – could prove vital as both teams chase their first title under their current franchise names.
