Minnesota heads back to Target Center riding serious momentum after rallying from 18 down to beat the Clippers 109-106. Jaden McDaniels led the way with 27 points on an ultra-efficient 10-13 shooting night, and that win pushed the Timberwolves’ streak to five straight. Home court has treated them well in this matchup too, with Phoenix dropping four straight road games in Minnesota, a trend the Wolves will look to lean into again.

Phoenix comes in trying to steady things after a rough 117-98 loss to Houston, a game played without Devin Booker. The Suns have struggled badly in those spots, going 1-8 in their last nine games without him, and his absence continues to loom large on offense. San Antonio has had New Orleans’ number all season, winning both meetings so far and doing it in different buildings. Even with Victor Wembanyama sidelined now, he was dominant earlier in the series, averaging 23.5 points, 14.5 rebounds and 6.0 blocks across those games. The Spurs come off a 130-117 loss in Cleveland, but the offense still showed with Devin Vassell scoring 28 and De’Aaron Fox adding 25 points and 9 assists. They’ve also won eight straight against division opponents, which matters here.

New Orleans continues to struggle without Zion Williamson, and the trend isn’t improving. The Pelicans fell 119-101 in Brooklyn last time out and are now 0-11 without Zion this season. Trey Murphy III led the way with 23 points, but scoring depth and defensive consistency remain issues. With Williamson still out, New Orleans is again leaning heavily on Murphy and role players just to stay competitive.
