The Celtics and Pacers clash in Game 3 of the Eastern Finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday night.
The Celtics secured a 126-110 win in Game 2 at TD Garden on Thursday, taking a 2-0 series lead. Boston smashed Indiana in the paint, outscoring the Pacers 54-34, and had a strong performance from the free throw line, shooting 17-20 (85.0%) compared to the Pacers’ 11-16 (68.8%).
Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with a 40-point performance, while Derrick White contributed 23 points.
Pascal Siakam was Indiana’s top scorer with 28 points. However, the Pacers face a challenge as Tyrese Haliburton, who left Game 2 with hamstring soreness, will need to play through the pain on Saturday.
This puts Indiana’s perfect 6-0 home record in the playoffs at risk.
