With the Florida Panthers taking out the 2024 Stanley Cup after a thrilling seven game Series against the Edmonton Oilers, we now look at the 2025 Stanley Cup betting odds.
It’s no shock that the Panthers (+850) are at the top of the 2025 Stanley Cup odds board as the favorites. Having reached the Stanley Cup Finals two years in a row and winning 52 games in the 2023-24 regular season with a league-leading 110 points and a +68 goal differential, Florida is in excellent form.
Under Paul Maurice’s leadership, the team is likely to bring back most of its key players and aim for another strong season in 2024-25, making the Panthers a fitting choice as the frontrunners.
The Hurricanes, Avalanche and Stars, all with odds of +950, are the other teams with odds below +1000. Colorado led the league with 304 goals and had the best home record at 31-9-1. Dallas topped the Western Conference and was second in the NHL with 113 points this season.
The Oilers, last season’s Runners-Up, at +1000, complete the top five on the futures boards. Edmonton, with a +57 goal differential, excelled in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and reached its first finals since 2006.

Stanley Cup Betting News
The Florida Panthers began their Stanley Cup title defense by signing Sam Reinhart to an eight-year, $69 million contract. Reinhart, who scored 10 playoff goals, including the Game 7 winner, and 57 regular-season goals, will be a key player for the Panthers.
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Lightning acquired Jake Guentzel from the Carolina Hurricanes, signing him to a seven-year, $63 million deal, potentially signaling the end of Steven Stamkos’s era in Tampa.
Despite these moves, the Utah Hockey Club (formerly Arizona Coyotes) saw the most significant shift in Stanley Cup odds, dropping out to $61.00 (+6000).
