2025 NBA Championship Betting Odds

2025 nba championship odds

The NBA is over for another year and what a year it was.

The Celtics took home the NBA Championsip, their 18th title in their history, giving them bragging rights over the Lakers who they were tied with 17 until the Finals unfolded.

With the NBA draft done and dusted, it’s time now to check out the 2024/25 NBA Season Championship Odds.

As predicted, the Celtics come out as favorites at +300, with the 2023 NBA Champion Denver Nuggets second favorites at $8.50.

The Lakers come in at $36.00 after the NBA Draft paired Bronny with LeBron, the first father-son combo to ever take the court in an NBA game (still yet to happen).

Last year’s runners-up, Dallas, come into the season as fourth favorite at $11.00.

These are the early lines for the 2025 NBA Championship as at the 1st July, 2024.

The Philadelphia 76ers’ 2025 NBA Championship odds were halved after signing Paul George, now listed at +900 or shorter, trailing only the Boston Celtics.

This move forms a new Big 3 with George, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey, who also signed a five-year max extension. James Harden remains with a $70-million deal, while the Clippers’ odds fell from +2000 to +5000 post-George.

A Deeper Look

Boston Celtics (+300)

The Celtics are favorites to repeat, boasting stars Jayson Tatum and reigning Finals MVP Jaylen Brown. Their supporting cast is one of the most talented in modern NBA history.

Philadelphia 76ers (+900)

The 76ers aim to dominate with their new Big 3.

Paul George joins Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. This strategic signing has significantly improved their championship odds. Maxey’s five-year max extension ensures long-term stability.

Denver Nuggets (+750)

The 2022-23 champions remain a threat with three-time MVP Nikola Jokic. Their consistent performance and Jokic’s leadership keep them in the top contenders’ list.

Oklahoma City Thunder (+900)

The Thunder, last season’s top seed in the Western Conference, signed Alex Caruso to replace Josh Giddey and added center Isaiah Hartenstein. These moves have raised their championship odds.

Dallas Mavericks (+1000)

The Mavericks, led by Luka Doncic, acquired Klay Thompson and extended his contract for three years at $50 million. Despite this, their championship odds remain steady.

New York Knicks (+900)

The Knicks made a significant move by acquiring Mikal Bridges and re-signing OG Anunoby. This bolstered their odds from +1,600 to +900, with a notable impact on Eastern Conference futures.

Detroit Pistons (+50,000)

The Pistons have the longest odds, even after signing Tobias Harris to a two-year, $52 million contract. Their chances remain slim despite this addition.
