Atlanta missed their first opportunity to advance, falling 120-95 to Orlando on Tuesday despite 28 points from Trae Young.

Miami kept its season alive with a commanding 109-90 win over Chicago on Wednesday, fueled by Tyler Herro’s 38 points on 13-of-19 shooting.

Dallas kept its season alive with a 120-106 win over Sacramento on Wednesday, powered by Anthony Davis’ 27-point, three-block outing. The Mavericks are now 7-3 when Davis plays since his midseason arrival.

While he hasn’t faced Memphis as a Maverick, Davis averaged 30.5 points and 15.0 rebounds in four appearances against the Grizzlies while with the Lakers earlier this season—numbers that could prove decisive in a must-win clash.
