- The Warriors take the court tonight as the biggest underdog they have been during their championship run, largely in part to the loss of Durant (suspected calf strain) which will see him miss the rest of this series.
- The Rockets failed to take advantage of Durant’s exit, as the Warriors reminded us that they still have 3 All-Stars, and a lineup similar to what brought them titles prior to KD’s arrival. Albeit a little older, and a bit thinner in depth.
- Thompson enjoyed his best game of the series with 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting in Game 5, while Curry came alive with Durant off, finishing with 25 points.
- Like the Warriors at the +7.5 tonight, seems generous even with the Warriors recent trends in Houston ATS not favourable. This just feels like too many points to lay in a series that’s been very close.
