The Warriors came into Game 2 at Houston as -2.0 favorites and went down by 22 in a 127-105 loss. Now home at Oracle, where they have won their last 15 Playoff appearances, the Warriors come in as solid -7.0 favorites.
Thompson and Curry struggled with 10-30 from the floor in Game 2.
“I’ve gone 0-for-11 before shooting 3’s and 1-for-8, whatever the case is,” Curry told reporters. “I always shoot that next shot with the optimism and confidence that it’s going in. So, you can work on stuff between practices and games to get your rhythm, just seeing the ball going in and working on your mechanics, but I’ll never lose confidence in myself. That’ll never change.”
CP3 appeared to aggravate a calf injury in Game 2, but should be good to go.
Houston were 31-10 on the road this season, including a win over the Warriors at Oracle. So don’t take too much into the away factor with a very solid road record and vets Paul and Harden unfazed in the face of hostility.
This is very tough.
Gotta take Golden State for the WIN at Oracle first up, the -7.0 a bit of a stretch. Extend to the -7.0 if you’re feeling lucky.
