The Trends-
- No trends worth noting.
The most notable thing to come out of Game 1 was Zaza Pachulia channeling Bruce Bowen, placing his foot in the landing area of a Khawi Leonard jump shot, and ultimately ending any real chance the Spurs had in this series.
Leonard will be held out of Game 2 with the ankle sprain, and even if he comes back for what remains of the series, he will not be the MVP candidate they need him to be to push the title favorites. (Pretty short at $1.40 (-250) if you ask us).
Oh yeah, the other notable thing to come out of Game 1, was the EPIC collapse of the Spurs following Khawi’s exit with 7:53 left in the 3rd, losing a 25-point lead, something that you would never expect from a Popovich led Spurs outfit.
Iguodala may return for Game 2 following an early exit from Game with with a sore knee. Following an MRI, Mike Brown stated that it was more of a coach’s decision.
