Last time out the in Game 3 the 76ers were -9.0, and in Game 2 they were -4.0 away in Boston. It seems the bookies and the punters alike are getting sucked into the hype train…still.
Now tonight at -6.5 favorites against a team with a 3-0 lead, we can’t go any place other than towards the +6.5 line for the Celtics.
We love Simmons, but boy did he have one of the worst last quarters of basketball in Game 3, missing shots under the ring and turning the ball over like it was going out of fashion. His Series stats aren’t much better, averaging just 11 points over the Series.
