MIAMI @ LA LAKERS
We’re going to see Anthony Davis challenged on those mid-range jumpers.
Perhaps AD will have no option to wear some paint because Bam will present some challenges – and I’m not convinced Vogel will want to run a twin-tower set up against the Heat.
Predicting that the 28.5 line is a couple of points over the mark for Game 1 against what will be a very physical Heat defense.
PICK – ANTHONY DAVIS UNDER 28.5 POINTS

The 5th-seeded Heat have impressed in the pos-season, pushing their way through the first 3 rounds winning 12 of their 15 games. Miami outscored Boston by 10 points during the 4th quarter of a 125-113 Game 6 win to close out the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Lakers are in search of their first title since 2010 after cruising through the postseason with a 12-3 record. Los Angeles shot 55% to close out Denver with a 117-107 win in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.
For Miami to knock off the Lakers in Game 1, they’ll need to be at the top of their game, but Jimmy Butler said even that might not be enough.
“We’re going to have to play damn near perfect because they’re such a good team and they do so many things well,” Butler said after the Heat’s series-clinching 125-113 win.
The Heat won their last chip in 2013, when LeBron, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh led them to the 2nd of back-to-back titles by beating the Spurs.
This is going to be a great series as the depth of the Heat take on the two Lakers superstars. Don’t expect the Heat to react to some of the bully-ball tactics in the same way that the Nuggets did (notably, Dwight will be a non-factor in this series).
