Best Bet: Cleveland -5.5 @1.91 (U.S: -109) – The Cavs shot 35% in Game 3, and Kyrie Irving (3-19, 13 pts) and Kevin Love (1-9, 3 pts) had a howler.
The Raptors decided that it was time to bully the bullies, out-rebounding the Cavs 57-43, with Bismack Biyombo cleaning the glass with 26 rebounds (8 offensive). The Raptors also outscored the Cavs in the paint 36-20.
We said that DeRozan and Lowry would need to score 40 each to win, we were proven wrong. DeRozan scored a game high 32, with Lowry adding 20 points in a game where no ‘decompression’ was necessary. They finally looked like the team that finished one win behind the Cavs in the Eastern Conference.
That being said, we will take Game 3 as an outlier, because even if they tried, Love and Irving couldn’t shoot any worse than they did last time out.
Cavs to cover the -5.5 spread. – LOSS
Feeling Lucky: Total Points Over 197.0 @1.91 (U.S: -109) – If Love and Kyrie can actually find the bottom of the net, it will go a long way towards this total. Things just didn’t fall in Game 3, we’re banking on history not repeating. – WIN
Feeling Very Lucky: Cleveland Cavaliers (-5.5) & Over 197.5 points @3.64 (U.S: +264) – Double your fun. – LOSS
