Best Bet: Golden State WIN @1.39 (U.S: -256) – There is no doubt that after the Game 1 result the Cavs will look to steal this one before heading home to Cleveland. They had everything going for them in terms of low scoring contribution from Steph and Klay, but their second unit was the issue, being outscored 45-10, with Shaun Livingston providing 20.
The Cavs turned the ball 0ver 17 times in Game 1, and only managed 17 assists towards their 32 made shots. Kyrie was ice-cold going 7-22, but still managed to score 26 points. That kind of inefficiency can’t happen again, or this series is over. Coach Lue has urged Lebron to push the pace of the offense to avoid getting stuck in the isolation that the Warriors pushed on defense.
Golden State with their home record is a good bet regardless, even if LeBron tries to take over.
Feeling Lucky: Over 208.5 @1.91 ( U.S: -110) – As mentioned above, with low scoring figures from Steph and Klay, the Warriors were still able to break the 100 point barrier. They couldn’t have a bad game twice in a row.
Feeling VERY Lucky: over 215.5 @2.80 ( U.S: +180) – This is for the event of a shootout. The Cavs were able to draw close to the Warriors in the middle of the third but couldn’t keep up with them in the final term. Here’s to a high scoring improvement from both lineups, with the Cavs to play with enough tempo to help break the line.
