The Nets are among the highest-scoring teams in the league, but they’ll be missing Durant (covid-protocols), their leading scorer at 28.2 ppg, has been ruled out because of “health and safety protocols.” Several reports Monday said Durant would be quarantined for seven days.
The Nets are 1-4 over their past five and are struggling defensively, leaking through 120.0 ppg over their recent stretch. They’ll look to correct against the Jazz, who are coming off their highest-scoring game of the season.
Second-chance points were a big problem Sunday when the Nets took a 123-122 loss to the Wizards.
Utah are on a streak of the season after splitting its first four contests. The Jazz followed up Friday’s 106-100 win over the Clippers by opening a seven-game trip with a 130-109 win at San Antonio on Sunday.

LeBron took control in the fourth quarter of a 108-94 win in Memphis on Sunday, scoring 13 of his 22 points in that span to help turn a two-point lead into a 14-point win. The Lakers outscored Memphis by 12 points during the fourth quarter to pull away for a 108-94 road win.
Memphis just narrowly missed the playoffs last season and are heading into the next few weeks without injured Morant. During Sunday’s 14-point loss, Memphis ran out to an 11-point lead after one quarter. The Grizzlies missed 24 of their 33 three-point attempts and shot just 41% from the field.
