2019/20 SEASON RECORD: 75-49

Expert NBA Player Props Analyst, Daniel Parisi, gives his best daily prop.

PLAYER PROP

HOUSTON @ DENVER

Porter Jr has split a pair on this total, in what has been another predictably slow start to the year for the Nuggets.

This team has all the makings of 48+ wins but they need to create more offense through MPJR.

We’ll see that tomorrow against the Rockets who look slim on the wing.

If Porter nets out of his current average of “12” shots per game – noted; we are only two games into the season, then he will soar over 15 points.

PICK – MICHAEL PORTER JR OVER 14.5 PTS

The Nets were -7.5 favorites last night against the Hornets, and never looked like winning until clawing back in the final seconds to eventually go down 106-104, with a last chance Durant shot rimming out to potentiall tie the game.

A lot of parlays were lost in that one (also looking at you Milwaukee).

The Grizzlies are 0-2 to start their campaign, after losses to the Spurs (131-119) and the Hawks (122-112), both high scoring affairs.

Despite the high scoring of the Grizzlies openers, the Nets have given away totals of just 99, 95 and 106 points in their 2-1 season start.

Take the Unders here, with the Nets defense to keep the total under the inflated 237.5 line.

The Rockets visit Denver with four players quarantined after a crazy opening week.

Houston had its opener postponed before nearly beating Portland on the road in their first outing. Harden scored 44 points in the OT loss.

The Rockets will need more of that from Harden without John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Eric Gordon and Mason Jones all being until Wednesday because the four were considered close contacts under the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols.

Despite an 0-2 start the Nuggets aren’t at panic stations yet despite two home losses to start the season. On Wednesday they rallied against the Kings but errors in the final seconds of OT cost them in a . A slow first half against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday ended in another loss.

With Houston still down cavalry, like the Nuggets to finally pull their finger out of their asses tonight. But, Overs best.

The last time the Jazz were in OKC, the NBA and the world as a whole, was about to change in a big way.

On March 11, Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19 before the Jazz were scheduled to play OKC. That game was postponed, and not long after the NBA season was suspended and the rest of the sports world followed…

The Jazz (1-1) are coming off a 116-111 home loss to Minnesota on Saturday and tonight’s matchup is the 2nd of 10 road games in the first 14 games for Utah.

OKC (1-0) are coming off a 109-107 win at Charlotte on Saturday, a game where the Thunder blew a 13-point lead in the final two minutes before Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s jumper with less than two minutes on the clock lifted them to the W.

Jazz SHOULD correct tonight and get a much needed confidence boost against the young Thunder. Wouldn’t put our hard earned on them for anything though.

Portland improved to 1-1 following its 128-126 overtime victory against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night. CJ McCollum was the leading scorer for Portland with 44 points and sank a 3-pointer with just 6.3 seconds remaining to give the Trail Blazers the victory at home.

The Lakers re on a back to back after easily taking care of the T-Wolves 127-91 last night. LeBron played 26 minutes scoring 18 points, while Anthony Davis (calf) sat out and is probable for tonight.

Always tough betting on the Lakers each night with last minute restrictions and rests given to LeBron and Davis, however their depth is strong enough to get over a Portland team that has started the year 0-2 and hasn’t given us a reason to have faith in them tonight.

PICK – LA LAKERS -3.5
