DP’S NBA PLAYER PROP

SEASON RECORD: 38-23

Expert NBA Player Props Analyst, Daniel Parisi, gives his best daily prop, exclusive to subscribers.

CHICAGO @ TORONTO

With injured Raptors returning including Powell,  Siakam and VanVleet, Kyle Lowry’s usage has been down of late.

The assist line of 7.5 seems high based on Lowry’s recent output, clearing the 7.5 line in just 1 of his last 8 outings (where he tallied 13 against the Hawks), throwing out his assist average.

Teams average 7% less assists against the Bulls in comparison to the NBA average – all of these issues including a possible blowout suggests Lowry may find it difficult to have 8+ assists this evening in Toronto.

DP’S PICK – KYLE LOWRY UNDER 7.5 ASSISTS (Result – 6 Assists) – WIN

The Nuggets will look to avoid after knocking off Utah at home Thursday night, the Nuggets completed a tough back-to-back with an impressive 127-115 winat the NBA-best Bucks on Friday.

Jokic fell 1 assist short of a triple-double and Will Barton nearly had one also as the Nuggets won for the 10th time in their last 14.

The Pistons are finding it tough through a 5-game losing streak, tied for their longest this season after Friday’s 105-92 home loss to Toronto. They shot 35.4%  from the floor while falling to 9-17 in Motown.

No reason not to ride the hot hand.

Zion has the look of a future MVP and he’ll get a chance to take on two former winners tonight. Williamson needed just 29 minutes to score 24 points in a 139-111 win over Memphis on Friday, averaging 19.2 points on 62.5% shooting through his first 5 career games.

Both rank in the top 4 in tempo and so the over is tempting, but we’ll stick with the Pels +5.5.

The Bucks will look to recoup after a 127-115 home loss to the Nuggets. Milwaukee own the NBA’s best record at 41-7 but fell to 22-3 at home with the loss to the Nuggets on Friday, outscored by 19 points in the 2nd half.

Devin Booker was upset at his All-Star snub when rosters were announced on Thursday and responded with 27 points at home against the Thunder the next night, but it was not enough in a 111-107 loss. Phoenix dropped 4 of its last 6 games overall but are 4-1 in their last 5 on the road, including wins at Boston and Dallas.

The Raptors look like a championship contender and will look to push their streak to 11 in a row tonight. The Raptors are doing what’s expected with sub-.500 teams and cleaned up a 2-game road trip by breezing past the Pistons 105-92 on Friday.

Also snubbed from the All-Star game is Zach LaVine, who was one of the more notable outs in the East. LaVine posted team highs of 22 points and 8 assists on Friday but could not pull his team to a win as Chicago dropped to 0-2 on the three-game road trip with a 133-118 loss at Brooklyn.
