Well, we were extremely unlucky with James Harden on the points total, going down by .5 (and having to watch him become passive yet again to close out a game).

But we move onto Game 7 of the Utah/Denver series which has been completely flipped on it’s head since Coach Malone injected Jerami Grant & Monte Morris into the starting line up.

While Murray has been nothing short of scintillating, the Nuggets finally did their homework on the Mitchell/Gobert high PnR which has significantly reduced Gobert’s impact on the offensive end.

In the past two games, Gobert’s shot count and field goal % has been eliminated. Gobert has returned consecutive 11 point games on 40% from the floor.

Grant’s weak-side D has been a huge contributor to the way Jokic is able to trail Gobert under the rim and I expect the Nuggets to continue this defensive scheme on the Frenchmen in Game 7.

The Raptors were disappointing in game 1, going down 112-94 and never leading in the game after trailing by 19 in the first quarter. Toronto shot 36.9% as a team, 25.0% from 3-point range and didn’t look close to their best.

The Raptors had only dropped one game during seeding, a 122-100 loss to Boston.

The Celtics have won 5-straight and 9 of 10 overall and flexed what some believed to be their weakness, with 6 Boston players scoring in double figures.

The Raptors top 5 transition offense just couldn’t find it’s way past the Celtics top 5 transition defense.

The Raptors always figure it out, but a 4-1 record for the Celtics against the Raptors in 20/21 is pretty convincing.

Playing in the sixth Game 7 in franchise’s history, the Nuggets will be attempting to advance for the first time ever.

Utah will also be taking their sixth attempt at a Game 7, including beating the Clippers in a deciding contest in the first round in 2017.
