With D’Angelo Russell (hand, out 2 weeks) sidelined Sunday, the Warriors lost 108-100 to the Pelicans for their 7th straight loss, and longest losing streak since 2011-12.
The Grizzlies won 3 straight before a 131-114 loss to Denver on Sunday to fall to 1-1 on their current 4-game homestand.
The Grizzlies have made at least 10 3-pointers in 7 straight games, tied for the longest streak in franchise history.
The Warriors rank last in the league defensively, while the Grizzlies rank 25th. The worry is Golden State having enough offense to contribute to the 222.5 total line.
We say no.

Melo returns!
Carmelo is expected to play in his first game in more than 12 months. The 10-time All-Star has a lot to prove after being booted by the Rockets early last season but said he is not interested in being defined by that short stint.
The Pelicans started 2019/20 a poor 1-7 but have since won 3 of their past 5 games, including Sunday’s 108-100 home win over the Warriors, relying on young players in the wake of starter injuries.
Portland averaged 127.3 ppg while winning all 3 of last season’s matchups.
Brandon Ingram (knee) and Lonzo (right adductor) are both being listed as questionable for the Pelicans.
Both rank in the top 10 in tempo and the top half of the league offensively, however Portland on a B2B, Pelicans injuries and a new lineup for the Blazers suggest to us a slight drop in points.
