Tonight’s Best Pick:
Boston Celtics @ Toronto Raptors – Total Points Under 215.0 @1.91 (-110) – WIN
Memphis @ Indiana
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Memphis | 18-11 | 16-13 |
Indiana | 20-10 | 9-18 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Memphis | 100.8 | 99.5 | +1.3 |
Indiana | 105.5 | 106.4 | -0.9 |
Picks –
Indiana were on a knife’s edge at the deadline with the status of their superstar Paul George in limbo. With a chance to setup up a real build and cash in with high draft picks, the Pacers decided not to pull the trigger.
The Grizzlies have been able to control games in the past against the Pacers (winning the last 5) by leading the rebound category but have struggled on the road against their East counterparts with a 10-11 record.
Best Bet: Memphis WIN @1.89 (-112)
Feeling Lucky: Total Points Under 207.0 @1.91 (-110)
Washington @ Philadelphia
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Washington | 24-7 | 10-14 |
Philadelphia | 13-16 | 8-19 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Washington | 108.1 | 105.3 | +2.8 |
Philadelphia | 101.2 | 106.8 | -5.6 |
Picks –
The Process continues in Philly with Ilyasova and Noel shipped out for picks and a bit of change while the Wizards added to 3pt shooting off the bench in Bogdanovic.
Washington have won 11 out of their last 12 and will continue their run for a top 3 seed in the East.
Best Bet: Washington WIN @ 1.27 (-370)
Feeling Lucky: Washington -8.0 @1.95 (-105)
Boston @ Toronto
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Boston | 20-8 | 17-12 |
Toronto | 19-10 | 14-14 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Boston | 108.4 | 105.6 | +2.8 |
Toronto | 108.5 | 104.3 | +4.2 |
Picks –
Toronto were busy at the deadline acquiring Serge Ibaka and PJ Tucker with the former debuting tonight. The Raptors have missed another inside presence which has really shown in the middle 3rd of the season where they have dropped from 2nd to 4th in the East.
The Celtics stayed put at the deadline which has probably frustrated the fans as their East opponents have all gotten stronger. Even though Ibaka will be playing his first game in his new colours tonight, the trade was made over a week ago and he has had a significant amount of time to learn the new plays.
Best Bet: If your’e ready to jump back on the Raptors – Toronto WIN @1.64 (-156)
Feeling Lucky: Total Points Under 215.0 @1.91 (-110)
Miami @ Atlanta
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Miami | 13-14 | 12-18 |
Atlanta | 16-11 | 16-13 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Miami | 101.5 | 102.5 | -1.0 |
Atlanta | 103.8 | 104.3 | -0.5 |
Picks –
Miami were almost a sure thing during their streak but tonight is a definite coin toss between these division rivals. The Hawks are favourites based on the home court advantage but the real dual will be between the bigs in Whiteside and Howard.
Atlanta lead the season series 2-1 with both those wins being under 198 combined points, although since the streak was broken for Miami, their record has been 1-2 averaging 111 points per game.
Best Bet: Atlanta WIN @1.64 (-156)
Feeling Lucky: Total Points Under 207.0 @1.91 (-110)
Utah @ Milwaukee
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Utah | 20-11 | 15-11 |
Milwaukee | 14-14 | 11-16 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Utah | 100.2 | 95.7 | +4.5 |
Milwaukee | 105.7 | 105.4 | +0.3 |
Picks –
There has been one certainty for us this season, and that is the Jazz, who’ve lined our pockets over and over again, and tonight we’ll stick with old faithful tonight with a nice away record.
Jazz are 23-5 ATS in the last 28 meetings, and although that doesn’t hold a lot of weight in our book, it does add some straw to the camel’s back in regards to a tip.
Jazz to cover a slim line tonight.
Best Bet: Utah WIN @1.74 (-137)
Feeling Lucky: Utah -2.5 @1.91 (-110)
LA Lakers @ Oklahoma
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Los Angeles | 12-14 | 7-25 |
OKC | 20-8 | 12-17 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
LA Lakers | 104.5 | 110.7 | -6.2 |
OKC | 105.9 | 106 | -0.1 |
Picks –
The Lakers won the last one in this matchup, having lost the 9 previous to that. We’ll discount some of those however thanks to the loss of KD.
At home the Thunder will take care of business tonight, the road record of the Lakers gives us zero confidence.
Thunder are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Best Bet: Nope.
Feeling Lucky: Oklahoma City -10.0 @1.91 (-110)
Phoenix @ Chicago
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Phoenix | 10-18 | 8-21 |
Chicago | 17-11 | 11-18 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Phoenix | 106.9 | 112.4 | -5.5 |
Chicago | 102.1 | 102.8 | -0.7 |
Picks –
The Bulls dealt some deals on the trade deadline, nothing as interesting as the Boogie trade, but the United Center will look a little different tonight.
Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott head to OKC in exchange for Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow and Joffrey “The Butler” Lauvergne.
The trade of mainstay Gibson will be a loss to the rebounding strength of the Bulls, and with things thrown around tonight we’ll lie with the Suns, but it’s not going near the parlay.
Some ugly basketball on the way here.
Best Bet: Nope.
Dallas @ Minnesota
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Dallas | 14-14 | 8-20 |
Minnesota | 14-18 | 8-17 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Dallas | 98.1 | 100.4 | -2.3 |
Minnesota | 104.8 | 105.7 | -0.9 |
Picks –
Dallas have won 6 of their last 10, with the T-Wolves 4-6 over the same stretch.
Liking the Mavs at the line here, despite their awful offensive output in what will be an ugly, low scoring affair that should be avoided unless you’re a fan.
Mavericks are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, and they’ll break the line tonight. Those old legs have a few more W’s in them in 2017.
Best Bet: Total Points Under 203.5 @1.91 (-110)
Feeling Lucky: Dallas WIN @2.31 (+131
Brooklyn @ Denver
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
Brooklyn | 7-24 | 2-23 |
Denver | 15-13 | 10-19 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
Brooklyn | 105.5 | 114.2 | -8.7 |
Denver | 110.5 | 111.9 | -1.4 |
Picks –
The Nets have won just 1 of their last 26 games. Not even going to waste time here picking the H2H matchup.
Denver are holding onto 8th spot in the West, and with something to play for will not be trouble by a Nets team that have fumbled their way to a 2-23 road record.
Brooklyn have won the last 6 in this matchup, and despite having the worst defense in the league, will stay within the line tonight. They’ve been blown out rarely.
Best Bet: Denver WIN @1.20 (-500)
Feeling Lucky: Brooklyn +10.0 @1.91 (-110)
San Antonio @ LA Clippers
Win/Loss
TEAM | HOME | ROAD |
San Antonio | 19-6 | 24-7 |
LA Clippers | 18-8 | 17-14 |
Points +/-
TEAM | OWN | OPP | DIFF |
San Antonio | 106.7 | 98.4 | +8.3 |
LA Clippers | 108.0 | 104.5 | +3.5 |
Picks –
This is the Spurs first game back following the break, while the Clippers fell 113-123 to the Warriors in Golden State last night.
The Spurs are pros, and a few day’s off won’t have them rusty coming into this one.
Pop’s boys to roll here with the fresh legs.
Best Bet: San Antonio WIN @1.66 (-150)
Feeling Lucky: San Antonio -3.0 @1.91 (-110)
