MULTI BET OF THE DAY!

Indiana -7.5 @1.55

New York -4.5 @1.67

Miami +2.5 @1.61

Chicago WIN @1.57

Tonight’s games below…

Brooklyn at Indiana

Points +/- Rank

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
6 Indiana 103.6 99.4 +4.2
28 Brooklyn 96 102.6 -6.6

The Say

Brooklyn is 1-11 on the road, and Indiana has won 9 of its last 10 at home. There is no reason to believe this is anything but a W for the Pacers. The only way this will be interesting is if Jay-Z freestyles on the sidelines during the 48 minutes that his team is losing. Not much else to say for this one, except enjoy the PG-13 show.

Feeling Lucky: Indiana -7.5 @1.55.

Portland at Orlando

Points +/- Rank

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
15 Portland 102 102 0
12 Orlando 100.1 98.5 +1.6

The Say

Look out, the Magic are 7th in the East and good on them.

The Magic seem to get the job done at home while the Blazers don’t travel well. Therefore, you get a good gist of where this game could be heading. The deciding factor will be to pick Orlando for the win straight up, or Portland to be within 10 points, either way, you get the same odds. Decisions, Decisions…

Best Bet: Portland +10.5 @1.44

New York at Philadelphia

Points +/- Rank

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
20 New York 97.3 99.2 -1.9
30 Philadelphia 90.6 103.3 -12.7

The Say

Here we enter the rookie head to head tour. Last game Porzingis went up against Towns and came away with the victory. Tonight, he gets a crack at Okafor, both players going before him in the draft. Last time these two team played, the Knicks won with Porzingis putting up 17-10-4 and Okafor sat due to suspension. Tonight’s story should follow the same script from beginning to end. New York, New York

Best Bet: New York -7.5 @2.00

Atlanta at Boston

Points +/- Rank

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
16 Atlanta 99.7 99.7 0
6 Boston 102.6 98.4 +4.2

The Say

Already playing twice this season with the results split at one a piece, both Atlanta and Boston are having up and down seasons that’s sees them sitting 9th and 10th respectively. Being at the TD Garden, the Celtics usually get the nod here but something is amiss in Atlanta. After losing Carroll and gaining Hardaway Jr and Splitter, the team is nowhere near the reaching the highs of last season. Remember, they had a streak going also.

Best Bet: Atlanta +10.5 @ 1.37

Toronto at Miami

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
8 Toronto 99.5 95.8 +3.7
9 Miami 95.8 93.6 +2.2

The Say

Less than a week ago we were writing about how impressive the Raptors were sitting 2nd in the East and defeating some formidable opponents in the Cavs and Spurs. Now, with a loss tonight, they could be out of the 8. That’s how cut throat the East is at the moment. No slip ups (just ask Boston and Atlanta). It’s about time the East had some real competition and it’s exciting to follow. This is our **danger game** warning for Miami. Probably best to leave this one alone.

Best BetMiami +2.5 @1.61

Detroit at Chicago

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
10 Detroit 99.3 97.7 +1.6
13 Chicago 98.9 97.5 +1.4

The Say

The Bulls will be looking for revenge against the Pistons after their slip up away earlier in the season. Chicago eventhough disappoint us at times with their lack of D, they do have a good record at home (11-3). Should be enough for us but remember, they do pull out the odd loss which mystifies us all.

The Best Bet: Chicago WIN @1.57.

Points +/- Rank

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
21 Sacramento 105 107.7 -2.7
19 Minnesota 102.3 103.8 -1.5

The Say

Last time these two teams met in Sac town, the Wolves got the chocolates as the Kings fell short without Cousins. The Kings having won 3 in a row now welcome back Rondo and will look to improve on recent form. As both teams are inconsistent at best, we suggest to stay away or pick the Kings.

Feeling Lucky: Sacramento 1-10 @2.50

LA Clippers at San Antonio

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
10 LA Clippers 102.6 100.9 +1.7
1 San Antonio 101.1 87.9 +13.2

The Say

These two meet again for the first time since last years playoffs (which the Clippers won in 7), and with both teams in a groove, it should be a nice match-up. Since late last year the Spurs have been untouchable at the AT&T Center, outscoring opponents by an average of 18.1 points, and 23 straight wins.

The Spurs are giving away a league low 88.2 ppg, and they’ll need it against a Clippers outfit that has been dominant offensively with Chris Paul (16.6 ppg), JJ Reddick (20.6 ppg over the last 5), Blake Griffin (23.9 ppg) and Jamal Crawford sharpshooting when the need arises.

Both Lob City and the Spurs (what is their nickname?) are playing well on both ends, at it will be an up and down affair early, with the Spurs gaining control late.

Best Bet: Spurs -4.5 @1.53.

Memphis at Dallas

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
24 Memphis 96.6 101 -4.4
14 Dallas 101.6 100.6 +1

The Say

The battle for 2nd in the South-West is on. After purple patches a few weeks back, both teams are having some ups and downs over the last few, Dallas (5-8) and the Grizzlies (5-6).

The Pacers gave Dallas a serving of 107-81 last time out, but at home, the Mavs should get the W.

Best Bet: Dallas WIN @1.70.

Denver at Utah

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
25 Denver 98.1 102.6 -4.5
18 Utah 97.1 97.4 -0.3

The Say

Nothing about this game screams anything worthwhile betting wise. We tried to get on the “defense wins games” bandwagon with the Jazz, but it’s just not effective when you don’t score yourselves. The Nuggets are the form team, so we will give them the W here, but we won’t be changing the channel to watch it.

Best Bet: Nuggets +5.0 @1.91.

New Orleans at Phoenix

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
27 New Orleans 101.7 108.3 -6.6
17 Phoenix 104.8 105 -0.2

The Say

The bottom line is that the Pelicans just can’t play away from home. While averaging 108.3 at home, they are struggling to get over the triple digits on the road, averaging just 95.7, but have managed to win their last 2 away.

Anthony Davis is averaging 23.3 ppg, 10.9 rpg, while the return of Tyreke Evans has given them a boost, but they will lose here.

Best Bet: Phoenix WIN @1.58.

Milwaukee at Golden State

RK TEAM OWN OPP DIFF
2 Golden State 115.3 102.2 +13.1
26 Milwaukee 95.5 101.6 -6.1

The Say

The Bucks have seemed to have to wood over the Warriors in recent times, including a 108-95 win last meeting in Milwaukee. Ending the Warriors streak may have just given them the confidence they need to again beat the War…nah, we’ll just leave that there, it’s getting too late for jokes.

One thing that loss did was make this next on personal for the Warriors.

“We remember what happened less than a week ago,” Stephen Curry (32.0 ppg, 6.1 apg, 5.2 rpg) said.

That along with the fact that the Bucks have lost 11 straight on the road, and are without top scorer Greg Monroe (16.2 ppg, 9.8 rpg) for the 3rd straight game, should make this one worth watching. But not for a Buck fan.

Best Bet: Warriors -14.5 @1.38.
