The Wizards are 0-3 and another loss wouldn’t be the best of starts for new coach Scottie Brooks and his superstars in Wall and Beal. The Hawks got the better of them in the opening game in Atlanta, while the Wizards last outing at home ended in a loss to Toronto. Maybe tonight will be the drought breaker.

Toronto are riding the DeMar DeRozan scoring wave for as long as they can. The newly paid SF has scored 30+ points in his first four games of the season, a feat only matched by Durant, Kobe and MJ. That’s pretty good company to be in, and we don’t see anyone on the Heat roster slowing this down.

The Nets have taken a couple of Eastern Conference scalps at home with wins against the Pacers and Pistons. Charlotte are 2-0 on the road but haven’t been tested this season, other than a loss at home to Boston. Every time we have tipped the Nets to lose at home and have come up short, but we are hoping the Hornets can buck that trend as its not helping any of us punters. However, still a danger game.

The Knicks hands are hovering over the panic button already after what they have put up this season. Two very disappointing defeats to Detroit and Houston has them currently fourth last in points per game. D-Rose gets to greet the crowd that saw him become the league’s MVP, while these two teams who were involved in the offseason trade couldn’t be further apart.

The Clippers are scoring 4 points less per game this season compared to last but have completely fixed the defensive end allowing almost 10 less points per game. On the road to Memphis should be a bounce back game after dropping the game to the Thunder at home. Memphis are treating this as a test and would be hoping to bring some fire to the once-was rivalry.

Things are starting to crumble in New Orleans with the Pelicans 0-5 and is very reminiscent of previous years where already the season could be over. Phoenix got their first win with an overtime victory against the Blazers, and will be looking at this game as a possible streak starter. Anthony Davis will be a handful and may put up another massive night on the boxscore to try and will the Pelicans into a win.

Both teams are below the .500, with the Mavericks yet to break the 2016/17 seal. Dirk made his first appearance in the Mavs last game, an 81-97 loss to the Jazz. The backcourt of McCollum and Lillard may find it a little easier against a Mavs team likely missing Deron Williams.
Not really liking the H2H markets here, so we’ll stick with the total points markets for tonight. But if you just HAVE to dive in, we’re tipping the Blazers to continue the Mav’s misery.

The Jazz took us by surprise the last time these two met in a 106-91 win over the Spurs in San Antonio. We will take that result as an outlier and stick with the Spurs here, even though we definitely rate the Jazz. Even at home though, we’ll tip the Spurs to take revenge tonight. Pop doesn’t take long to figure things out.
